* How to use open geo-standards for sharing data: GeoRSS, WMS, WFS, WCS, Microformats, KML, GeoJASON

* Geographic data formats (Vector and Raster)
* Using Ruby/Mapscript, Ruby/GDAL, Ruby/GEOS
* Talking to Mapserver (IvyGIS)
* Using Geonames Ruby API
