I've been using http://makemypassword.com for a few years. The Copy my Password button copies the generated password to your clipboard instead of using a keyboard combo.

I do the same thing (hang from the pull-up bars). It seems to sort things out, but I get light-headed nearly every time.

The nicest thing about Sublime Text 2 is that I never have to remember the location of various options anymore. Open-Command Panel-Type what I want does most things I'll ever have to deal with menus for me. :)

I'm a long-time Textmate user trying out Sublime Text 2. The Command Palette (Shift + Command + P) is really useful. I didn't know about it until this post. Thank you!

In what formats will this book be available? When I see a new self-published book, I assume it will be available digitally. Your site (which is really well-designed) mentions nothing of the format.

Either way, I would like to see images of what the product will look like. For someone like me who doesn't need this book but is still interested in its topic, images of a well-designed book might make the difference in whether or not I purchase it.

Thanks for the feedback- all really good points. As the month goes on, I'll have some pictures of the cover-art and chapter list available.

It will be self-published, DRM-free in PDF, mobi, epub. Looking into what it takes to publish on the Amazon Store/Kindle/iBooks, but hopefully that's something I can figure out after launching.

Michael Hartl's Rails Tutorial addresses this right away. The first chapter is called From Zero to Deploy, where he demonstrates how to set up a Ruby/Rails programming environment and deploy rails apps to Github and Heroku.

I cannot recommend this enough. Even this lowly darkside Perl hacker was able to make sense of it and use Hartl's example to construct a useful app.

Available for free online, though you can also pay for it if you'd like.

Since I have the DNT+ extension installed on Chrome 17 / OS X, the message reads, "Feel free to follow me on Twitter. You can also be a kind person and tweet this."
